PHAT CAT (Chad A. Turley) is a Gospel Rap artist out of the Pacific Northwest. Born and raised in Sunnyside WA (1976), family life was great growing up. But falling into the pressures of life took him down some really dark roads. Being delivered from drug and alcohol addictions are only part of the strong testimony that comes to light in his music. With a revived relationship with Christ, PHAT CAT hit the ground running. Finding local success with the release of his debut album “Cloudy Dreams,” PHAT CAT is making waves in the Gospel Rap industry and getting ready to release his highly anticipated sophomore release, “Behind Tha Mask.” Hitting the grind to spread God’s word through hip hop, PHAT CAT has worked along side and/or shared the stage with talented artists such as K2S, CROW of Bruthaz Grimm, Karusso, Salty Beatz, II Tre, Mr. Del, Willie Will, Corey Red & Precise, Urban D, and many more. CAT has a strong heart for ministry and his newest ventures include prison ministry, being a youth leader at his church, and teaming up with Visualize Music Group.
