The name B.I.G C.I.T.Y stands for:

B.old I.nfluential G.ospel 4 C.hrist I.mpacting T.he Y.outh

B.I.G.CI.T.Y, born Ronald Goodwin in Philadelphia, PA., started writing poetry following in his older brother's footsteps. City has been rapping for over eight years starting with the Young Lions on to 13th Disciple, and now as a solo act. B.I.G.CI.T.Y believes in the supporting the efforts of young people and strives to make his community a better place to live day in and day out. He coaches High School at Cherry Hill West and Little League football, shares the scripture with believers and non-believers alike and can regularly be seen on his block talking to the kids. His first music video was even shot on the streets of his own neighborhood keeping real to where he's from. The concept was developed by B.I.G.CI.T.Y and the video is currently airing on video shows across the country.

With a multifaceted personality and a broad range of musical influences, B.I.G.CI.T.Y produces a smorgasbord of concepts and topics that are unparalleled. With neck snapping tracks and spiritually provocative, lyrics, B.I.G.CI.T.Y has raised the bar for gospel rap. No longer will Gospel Rap have to take a back seat to the mainstream hip-hop consuming the airwaves today! His first release on his solo project "Christ is All I Need" enjoying heavy rotation as number 12 in the country on XM Satellite Radio XM 33 The Spirit.

In each track, there exists a message for one to grow on. The song titled "No Matter What," is a lyrical masterpiece exemplifying his burning desire to "spit" for God. The hook, "No matter what they say, you'll still find me spittin' / Freestyle or written, cause my lyrics are God given/ No matter what they say, I'm gonna spit for God/ Bite his lines, put ‘em in my heart and make ‘em mine"…. Is an example of the burning "fire" inside of this emcee to advance God's ministry through music.

Pastor Earl Simmons from Body of Christ Church in Raleigh NC says,
